Deposit Policy
To reserve a specific therapy dog or emotional support animal, a $300 deposit is required.

• The deposit goes toward the total adoption fee
• The deposit secures your chosen companion
• The deposit is refundable under the terms outlined below

Deposit Refunds
The $300 deposit is refundable under the following conditions:
• If Emotional Therapy Paws determines the adoption cannot proceed
• If the selected animal becomes unavailable due to health or safety concerns
• If the adopter cancels within the agreed reservation timeframe
Refunds are processed within a reasonable timeframe after written cancellation confirmation.
Adoption Fee Refunds
Once the adoption is finalized and the companion has gone home, adoption fees are generally non-refundable.
However, exceptions may apply if:
• A serious undisclosed medical condition is identified within an agreed health guarantee window
• Return terms outlined in the adoption agreement are met
